I just started playing this. Haven't gotten very far yet. I had to stop when I seen the scene from Straight? because I almost started crying lol. I'm sure I'll love this too.
Really like the premise, which seems to be, "What if the Captain Planet boys were gay?" I hope no one gets saddled with the power of heart though... that one always seemed a little lame to me. :)
I'm going to keep it short here because I think those waiting for the public release are still doing playthroughs and I want to avoid any spoilers (unless you are okay with that ;-) , but thank you again for your continued work revamping and mapping out the story for New Hope :). The redesign for the 4k remaster definitely made the environments feel more natural.
It's hard not to get too attached to these characters given how the arcs are starting to play out...and I'm starting to see some subtle differences in the different routes so it will be interesting to see where you take Justin and this story :).
excellent question, but that's something you'll have to take up with your internet service provider...usually they offer different maximum bandwiths/download speeds based on what you pay for your internet service.

Hey, without the error code I can only assume it's the same issue other people have had. When you download a new update you cannot load old saves. Due to the episodic nature of releases - loading an old save will crash the game and cause you to miss content. Please start a new game, and use the skip button to jump ahead.
If you're stuck at a certain point, make sure you start a new game. Old saves files from previous updates will crash the game due to the episodic nature of releases.
Hey, not entirely sure what you mean by the additional windows version, but I’ll take my best guess and assume you’re referring to the v0.2 and v0.2.1 links :)
V0.2 was the early release for Patreons, and V0.2.1 was the public release that had corrected bugs and typos that Patreons found whilst playing.
The next update that features new content is V0.3 - which will be released very soon. It’s currently been sent to play testers who are reviewing the content, and will feedback any issues they run into :)

As a major fan of Straight!? I just had to check out this story. I'm not going to say that it hits me the same but I'm definitely intrigued. There was a lot introduced so far in regards to personalities and their backgrounds but it seems to be setting up for a versatile experience for the reader. I believe that this story will make you want to explore all characters involved just to gain a better understanding of everyone. You may have your favorites but this story makes you explore the lives of all introduced. I must admit that I do love how Straight!? focuses on its main couple but every story is meant to give the reader a different experience. Straight!? allowed you to grow attached to its main couple as it slowly introduced others for you to also grow attached to. This story introduces a full crew of friends for you to learn and love. I am looking forward to see how this all turns out because I feel the first two parts only gave us a taste of what's to come.
Also this story's flow kind of reminds me of https://bobcgames.itch.io/yags. New Hope is more developed in regards to character development but both stories seems to have you manage the characters feelings while still exploring the feelings of whoever you choose to spend time with. I personally loved YAGS but I think this will turn that type of story into an even more immersive experience.
That was a good analogy! I didn't even think of comparing it to YAGS but this might have a very similar feel once it gets in a little more development, although we will have to see where Blayke takes it for the character development and plot twists.
Yeah, I honestly feel it will be very similar to YAGS but there is a lot to look at in this story beyond the main characters relationship with his friends. The main character's secret is what really had me wondering how it will play out considering it seems to be major but we don't have but so much detail as to how it will affect the story.
Blayke, just when I was getting sad about the fact that Straight!? was in its penultimate chapters, you went ahead and gave us this amazing work of art. I have replayed this three times so far and loved every second of it. There are many types of prejudices that exist in this world and (without giving away spoilers) Justin's extreme quirkiness, in addition to being gay (which can be considered more conventional), is a very intelligent medium to expore these prejudices. You don't need me to tell you that you are both an excellent storyteller and artist. I also love the diversity and depth of your characters and their tropes. The three characters that really caught my attention are Theo - the cold, lonely anti-hero; Eyal - the warm, affectionate knight in shining armour and Jeremy - the quintessential angsty rebel. Will there be a route for Jeremy? I really want to know more about him. I eagerly look forward to future updates.

I’m updating the graphics so all visuals will now be in 4K. That means I’m having to go back and re-render all the scenes. During that time I’ve updated some locations (such as Justin’s house - you’ll see a new look for that in the next update)
I was keeping this under wraps, but now is a good a time as any to announce I guess. I’m working on adding some music and sound effects to the game. There won’t be any voices or voice acting - but expect some sound for sure :)

Exactly how I wanted to play this :) I knew the typical jock bully stereotype was a good base to build a character on - but I'm a sucker for character depth and development so Theo is for sure gonna be fun to write and play around with.
Part 2 is still under production. I’ve finished all the writing and script work, now it’s just CG renders that need to be finished. I can’t put a time frame on that unfortunately as I’m waiting on a new PC to be delivered before I can continue rendering :)
Not quite sure if this is "THE" Blayke's first VN, but holy cow! This first chapter was quite satisfying in the sense there are so few visual novels in this genre which explore the main characters sexuality and tie in a sense for what appears to be [spoiler alert] potential superpowers or the supernatural.

Was looking forward to it since it was announced, and i'm not disappointed ! That first glance is pretty interesting, characters seems to be pretty different from each others ( and hot ! ) and the end is definitely leading to something pretty unique. Can't wait to see what's next !

WELL. I was all set to be annoyed with Theo and do his route last but then he had to go and have more to him and I guess I'm doin his first.
